Why I Support Mine Nationalization...and You Should Too!
Like many in our camp I used to be heavily invested in mining company stocks. I wanted to get the leverage that these companies promised from the metal they held in the ground. I rode the tumultuous wave of mining stock investment from 2000 to 2007 winning and losing fortunes (at least to me) in the process. It was a wild ride and I was not properly strapped in with the knowledge I have today but I survived it pretty much in tact because I got out at a good time.
Why I got out of mining stocks was 100% because of what I found in the Road to Roota publications from the Fed Boston. They talked about trade stopping between countries after the system crashes and they talked about how important gold and silver will be to the financial system of every country after the crash.
It was logical to leave the mining stocks to both preserve my wealth in a safer spot (physical metal) as well as promote FAIRNESS when it comes to the END GAME. For hundreds of years the European and American power brokers have raped and pillaged third world countries for their natural resources. Although many times it was through wars a more modern technique was through the Economic Hitmen that did it contractually. They went to poor countries, convinced them to take out loans through the IMF and World Bank to "improve" their infrastructure, and then indebted these nations to these lenders for life. It is all well documented.
The other way poor countries were exploited by those in power was to hand over legal ownership of their natural resources by way of publicly traded mining companies. It was a scam. The banks and power brokers control the mining stocks and will ultimately try to bankrupt these companies and scoop up the in ground resources. Just think... these powerful entities create money out of thin air, give this phony money to mining companies to buy properties around the world, set up the shell corporate "public" entities to hide their true plans, build out the infrastructure and then destroy the markets to scoop up the booty (the metal in the ground).
It happens in every country around the world from the rich (USA) to the poor (Bolivia). It is a con played out at the highest level of government and banking.
Once you know this you will understand why I support the nationalization of mines 100%. Of course it will likely happen anyways when the global monetary meltdown hits and the paper/electronic "money" is destroyed. The People of every nation will demand to use gold and silver as money going forward and there's not a chance in the world that any nation would ALLOW rich insiders or outsiders to control their wealth. It's the natural progression that has happened hundreds of times in the history of unbacked currencies. And it will happen again on a global scale very soon.
In the end I believe it is a moral issue.
What is more important to the future of humanity?
A) The recognition of wealthy shareholders rights in a "legal" contract to OWN part of a nation's underground resources?
or
B) The well being of that nation itself in the use of those resources to benefit their own population going forward?
I think it is the later and will support all efforts to end the practice of covert theft of sovereign national resources through corporate/public mining companies.
I know there are many in our camp that will disagree with me and there are legitimate arguments against my stance but I believe that my conclusions are not only valid but will be the likely scenario to play out.
If you think this is all farfetched and it could never happen then think again. Plans for this have been in the works a very longtime and here's the Obama plans...
White House Land Grab http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2010/mar/02/white-house-land-grab/
"A secret administration memo has surfaced revealing plans for the federal government to seize more than 10 million acres from Montana to New Mexico"
"President Obama could enact the plans in this memo with just the stroke of a pen, without any input from the communities affected by it."
In the end the Good Guys will win this battle and after all the dust is settled we can resume a "free market" in gold and I suspect there will be millions of Americans "heading to the hills" to mine for gold so be ready for it.
If you would like to do some shopping for equipment before the rush starts here's a company that I recommend for gold mining equipment...
